HIGH PERFORMANCE BUSINESS CONSULTANCY, EXECUTIVE TRAINING AND COMMERCIAL TRANSACTION
Prior to joining Bell Partners Ian was a veteran of the media entertainment industry working with the Nine Entertainment Co over a collective 20 year period and serving for many years on its Senior Executive team.
In his final role as Director of Commercial Partnerships & Affiliates, Ian was responsible for not only all of Nine’s state based television Managing Directors but the revenue performance and contractual management of Nine’s Affiliate partnership with Southern Cross Stereo.
Added to his list of duties at this time was to provide management oversight to the alternative revenue generating division 9Commercial. Before taking on this broader company role, Ian held a number of senior management positions including Managing Director of Nine Melbourne between 2011-2017, National Sales Director, National Sports Sales Director and before that Melbourne Sales Director. For a period of time he represented the company in Regulatory Affairs, acting as the Alternate Director to the CEO on the board of freeTV, as well as being a Member of its Policy Committee. He performed other Directorships and Board duties including with Your Money, WINNBN Sales Pty Ltd and the Regional Broadcasting Authority Holdings Pty Ltd. Separate to this period Ian spent a further 11 years in various sales positions between the Seven Network and originally the Nine Network where his very first role was as a production assistant. Ian has served as a Reservist with Australia’s Special Forces Group – 1st Commando Regiment. Ian specialises in high performance business planning, management and execution, executive leadership, people, commercial strategy, deal structure and negotiation.
Ian enjoys staying fit, meditating, cooking, sport, travel and spending time with family and friends.
