Get to know Sharon Krimmer – Senior Relationship Manager and Team Leader

We’d like to introduce you to Sharon, Bell Partner Insurance’s Team Leader and an exceptional Senior Relationship Manager. Sharon has worked at Bell Partners since she moved to Australia from the United Kingdom in April 2021. Here are ten questions to learn a bit more about our remarkable Team Leader…

What do you most enjoy about insurance broking?

First and foremost – I love helping people. My aim is to build a trusted partnership with my clients where they can rely on me for proactive insights, tailored solutions, and ongoing support, ensuring their business is safeguarded against the unknown as it grows and thrives.

What do you love most about working at Bell Partners Insurance?

I love helping the junior team members grow and thrive in their roles – it is such a fulfilling aspect of leadership. It is so rewarding to see them progress and develop their skills.

What does exceptional service mean to you?

Exceptional service means going beyond my client’s expectations to create a thoughtful and personalised experience. It involves having clear, respectful communication and being proactive in anticipating their needs and ensuring reliability and care in every client interaction. Consistency and attention to detail are crucial. Most importantly, I believe it’s about showing empathy to build trust and lasting relationships with my clients.

What behaviour or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
The behaviour or personality trait I would attribute most to my success is empathy. Being able to understand and relate to the needs, feelings, and perspectives of others I believe has a powerful impact on building strong relationships. Whether it’s connecting with my clients or supporting my team members, empathy allows for more thoughtful decision-making and better problem-solving. It creates a positive environment where people feel valued and understood, which ultimately drives long-term success.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?

The best advice I’ve been given is – “Focus on progress, not perfection.”
It reminds me that growth and improvement are ongoing processes, and it’s more important to keep moving forward than to get stuck chasing an unrealistic ideal of perfection. This mindset allows for learning from mistakes, embracing challenges, and celebrating small wins along the way. It also fosters resilience and keeps you motivated, even when things aren’t perfect.

How do you prefer to start your day?

I love to start my day with a cuddle from my son – Rupert. Very closely followed by a very large Chai Latte.

What energizes you at work?

I find real joy in connecting with my clients on a personal level and celebrating their individual successes.

What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

Becoming a team leader and managing the brokers is something I’m truly proud of! It’s incredibly fulfilling to take on the responsibility of guiding and supporting my team. Watching them grow and develop their skills has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

What’s your ’sing in the shower’ song?

There are so many to choose from, and it often depends on my mood. If I had to pick one, though, it would be “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I play a mean game of Monopoly!

What’s something about you we need to know?

Something important to know about me is that I’m genuinely passionate about supporting and uplifting others. Whether it’s guiding my team, celebrating my client’s milestones, or tackling new challenges, my focus is always on fostering growth and creating positive experiences. This passion drives me to constantly seek ways to improve and make a meaningful impact, both in my professional and personal life.
